Terrill Lee Lankford has also been known to dabble in the world of feature films to finance his novel writing habit. He sometimes works under his own name, but just as often under the veil of secrecy, using a variety of pseudonyms to cover his tracks.

Lankford and Michael Connelly are currently writing the screenplay for The Equalizer, a big budget update of the popular TV show from the eighties. The Weinstein Company and Mace Neufeld Productions are producing.
